The often forgotten 1948 film noir Road House starring Ida Lupino, Richard Widmark and that old friend of Paleo-Cinema Cornel Wilde, Secret of the Incas starring Charlton Heston, Robert Young and Yma Sumac, and that great victory of style over substance, 1968's The Thomas Crown Affair starring Steve McQueen, Faye Dunaway and Paul Burke.

Paleo-Cinema Podcast 24: Five Movies By Robert Aldrich - 1954-1956 - Cowboys, Indians, Private Eyes, Actors and Soldiers

In this 'cast, I look at the first of my own personal Magnificent Seven action heroes pre-1980, examine The Big Combo, a kick-arse film noir from the 1950s and as a guilty and naughty pleasure, examine the 1975 or 1976 porn version of Alice In Wonderland, then end with a brief spiel about the movies I've watched since the start of 2008.
