Not phalluses but good honest Australian detectives starting out with 1975's Scobie Malone starring Jack Thompson and Judy Morris then a decade later looking at the adaptation of Peter Corris'Cliff Hardy novel The Empty Beach starring Bryan Brown and Anna Maria Monticelli.
