Foreshadowing the Podcast

Riddle me this, Batman. Which character in a film was described by Stephen King as follows "... may be the greatest evocation of screen villainy ever, rivalling and perhaps surpassing Peter Lorre's in M." When you figure that out, you'll know what one of the movies I'll be talking about in Podcast 17 will be.

Ooo, I know I know! While I'm on record as not being a particular fan of Stephen King's writing (having only read one novel "Salem's Lot" and one non-fiction book "Danse Macabre" -- both of which I loved) I know that you're quoting from the latter. And that means (girlish squeals of delight from my general direction) that you will fast be talking about that marvelous scarefest WAIT UNTIL DARK. And the magnificently villainous Alan Arkin.

What do I win?!? What do I win?!? I'll bet it's a doll!

You win Geraldine. She's the referee. But semi-seriously, yep you're right Wait Until Dark. No prize, but you're good man...
